Maria Makurat: The works consist of acrylic paint, pastels and gold metal leaf. Wanting to learn more about international relations, Ms Makurat has studied Sociology at University of Heidelberg and International Affairs at Kings College London.

The artist has lived in several places in the world such as Norway, The Netherlands and now Germany. Already during her final high school years and for her exam in the Netherlands she has created the theme and logo #NatureTomorrow?. Now she also has taken up the theme #sayno to increase awareness of violence and encourages people to say no. The artist continues exploring different techniques and mediums and has started a classical series focusing on still life painting.
